Are you ready for your first blind date? Don't freak out! We've got you covered…
These tips will help you survive (and maybe even enjoy!) your first blind date:
1. Pick a public place:

For a first date, especially a blind date, it's a wise idea to meet somewhere public. Should things not work out, you've got an easy exit strategy.
2. Invite a friend:

Take a friend along as a "wingman" or "wingwoman." They can provide moral support and keep you safe.
3. Set your limits:

If your date suggests doing something that makes you uncomfortable, it's okay to say no. Take care of yourself and trust your instincts.
4. Have an escape plan:

In case you need to leave quickly, having a plan helps. An emergency could be as easy as having your wingman or wingwoman call you or sending you a pre-arranged signal.
5. Relax and be yourself:

You're probably just as nervous as your date. Don't stress yourself out about how perfect the evening has to be. Just be yourself.
5. Sharing is good, but don't overdo it.

Having an open and honest first date is okay, but don't reveal too much too soon. Keep a few secrets for later!
5. Enjoy:

Most importantly, remember that a blind date is a chance to meet new people. Make sure you don't take it too seriously and have fun.
